Depending on your geographical and industry focuses, project implementation can range from 3 to 12 months in length. Whilst most of our processes are automated, the Kaiku team work alongside partners to customise your startup discovery - we spend time defining your optimal prospect through samples, portfolio analysis and scouting workshops before focusing on data ingestion and prospecting to acquire accurate startup leads.

Our hybrid service aggregates public & private data from public databases, documentation and verified founder information to scout startups. Alongside this, we have worked with hundreds of referral partners across the globe to identify high-quality startups, teams and products. Our business development team works with leading accelerators, tech labs and funds to scope Pre-Seed to Series B tech startups. Finally, our startup recommendations are powered and validated by our intuitive algorithm to enhance the accuracy of matches.

Whilst our sourcing process is data-led, many Kaiku startups are selectively sourced for various industries and campaigns. We spend our time carefully when scouting new start-ups for clients, and place our value on providing qualified, accurate leads rather than mass lists.

We conduct preliminary due diligence checks on all the startups we work with to ensure they are still operating and are not faucets for illegal activity. We hence check the validity of
Business Models, Legals, Teams, Fundraising History, Technology + Product, Revenue, and Commercialization Plans.

Payments require a Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover or a Paypal account. We only accept online payments. All payments are non-refundable. By paying using your credit or debit card you confirm that the card is yours and that there are sufficient funds or credit available to cover the relevant Fees. Alternatively, we may invoice you for any amounts agreed with you and due to us whether under these Terms or a separate binding contract.

Startups can sign up to the Kaiku platform for free, with the process taking around 10 to 15 minutes. From there, Startups just need to wait for connections from our clients. Since Kaiku runs managed campaigns for clients, we do not keep your profile active on our platform unless there is a campaign relevant to your business. On the other hand, we shall also notify you if there is an active relevant campaign so you can update your profile to have the best chance of being noticed by our clients.
